On Saturday and Sunday, June 7th and 8th, 2025, we welcomed 17 people and held "2026 Tournament Entry Qualification Granted!! DEEP JAPAN ULTRA 100 Official Trial Camp with Gediminas Grinius" on the DEEP JAPAN ULTRA 100 course. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who participated, to Asakusa Sanso and Yotege House, and to all those involved.
Announcement of [Dream Lesson] by Gediminas and Hiroaki Matsunaga in Maekawa Elementary School in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture
[Dream Lesson] will be held on Monday, June 9, 2025 at Maekawa Elementary School in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture, the venue of DEEP JAPAN ULTRA 100. The "Dream Lesson" is part of Trail Runners' SDGs project "National Mountain Region Future Building Project," and is held out of Matsunaga's strong desire to teach children the importance of pursuing what they love. At the [Dream Lesson] at Maekawa Elementary School in Nagaoka City, we will invite ultra-trail world champion Gediminas Grinius to give a running class and a lecture. Parents and local residents are welcome to participate in this opportunity.

A simple aid station will be set up at the entrance to the Futakuchi Trail, available only to 30km runners on both the outward and return routes.
