[Dream Lesson] Report from Koide Elementary School in Uonuma City, Niigata Prefecture

On Wednesday, September 10, 2025, as part of Trail Runners' SDGs project, the "National Mountain Region Future Building Project," we held a "Dream Lesson" at Koide Elementary School in Uonuma City, Niigata Prefecture, as a contribution to the local community around the venue of DEEP JAPAN ULTRA 100." The lesson taught students how to turn their passion into a job while remaining in their hometown.

This "Dream Lesson" was implemented as a model project for promoting entrepreneurship education in Niigata Prefecture. Overall producer Matsunaga Hiroaki served as lecturer.

The "Dream Lesson" was held for one 45-minute period. Hiroaki talked about his thoughts on trail running, what motivated him to start, what he values in his work, what makes it rewarding, and what children should keep in mind in order to realize their dreams for the future.
