About Remaining snow kit

After checking the remaining snow conditions on the course, we have decided to exclude a remaining snow kit from the required equipment list.

We checked the remaining snow conditions on Mt. Sumon on Saturday, June 7 and Monday, June 16. During this period, the remaining snow section decreased by about 30%, so we expect the remaining snow section to be about the same as last year by the day of the competition.

Last year, there was remaining snow on the course near the summit of Mt. Asakusa and Mt. Sumon, covering approximately 50 meters. Those who are concerned about their footing are advised to bring a remaining snow kit.

For your reference, you can watch the video of the “2026 Tournament Entry Qualification!! DEEP JAPAN ULTRA 100 Official Trial Run Camp with Gediminas Grinius” held on Saturday, June 7, at Asakusa-dake and Sumon-dake at the link below.
