[Dream Lesson] Report from Oguni Elementary School in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture

On Tuesday, September 8, 2026, as part of Trail Runners' SDGs project, the "National Mountain Region Future Building Project," we held a "Dream Lesson" at Oguni Elementary School in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture, as a contribution to the local community around the venue of DEEP JAPAN ULTRA 100." The lesson taught students how to turn their passion into a job while remaining in their hometown.

This "Dream Lesson" was implemented as a model project for promoting entrepreneurship education in Niigata Prefecture. Overall producer Matsunaga Hiroaki served as lecturer.

The "Dream Class" session took place during the first period. It began with an indoor lecture covering the rewards of the job, the reasons for pursuing this career path, and the experience of earning a living doing what one loves, followed by a Q&A session. Afterward, a running clinic was held in the gymnasium.
